Meaningful Aboriginal Education for Schools

Supporting schools and organisations to move beyond inclusion - towards meaningful, infused Aboriginal perspectives.

Lineh means place

A place to pause, to listen, and to learn.

My name is Brooke, and I am a proud Palawa woman. I am also a qualified teacher with extensive experience leading Aboriginal education across primary, secondary, and tertiary contexts.

Lineh grew from something I witnessed time and time again - educators who genuinely cared about including Aboriginal perspectives in their teaching, yet felt unsure, hesitant, or afraid of getting it wrong.

It was never about a lack of care, it was a lack of support and Lineh was created to gently shift that.

What began as a response to this need has grown into meaningful partnerships with schools and organisations.

Together, we support educators to move from uncertainty to confidence - and from good intentions to deeply infused, respectful practice.

How we support your school

Thoughtful, practical, and deeply respectful - that's how we partner with schools to build genuinely culturally responsive practice.

No matter where your team is starting from, our offerings meet you there - creating the space to learn, reflect, and grow with confidence.

  • Grounded in real classroom application, our professional learning builds teacher confidence and deepens cultural responsiveness in practical, meaningful ways.

Rooted in respect and reflection, sessions guide educators from uncertainty to informed, intentional practice, one purposeful step at a time.

Tailored to your context, every experience leaves your team feeling supported, capable, and ready to take their next meaningful step.

  • Authentic, respectful, and deeply connected, we help schools infuse Aboriginal perspectives into curriculum in ways that go far beyond the tokenistic.

Working together, we explore how perspectives can be meaningfully woven across learning areas, opening rich opportunities for students to engage with depth, context, and real understanding.

The result is stronger curriculum and greater teacher confidence - practice that is thoughtful, purposeful, and built to last.

  • Vibrant, age-appropriate experiences that bring Aboriginal perspectives to life - right in your school.

Designed to spark curiosity and build genuine understanding, incursions forge meaningful connections to Aboriginal cultures, histories, and Country.

Thoughtfully facilitated, every session invites students not just to learn, but to reflect, show respect, and engage in ways that are both appropriate and truly impactful.

  • Step beyond the classroom and onto Country - immersive, facilitated experiences that invite students and educators to listen, observe, and connect at a deeper level.

Grounded in place, story, and relationship, these experiences open the door to genuine understanding that simply can't be replicated in a classroom.

For both students and staff, on Country learning cultivates a more connected, respectful way of knowing, being, and doing.

  • Lasting, meaningful change doesn't happen overnight, it grows through sustained relationship. We walk alongside your school over time, providing the continued support, reflection, and guidance needed to build genuine collective confidence and capability.

This isn't a one-off initiative. It's work that becomes part of everyday practice - with space for growth, questions, and ongoing learning at every stage.

One-off initiatives

→ Ongoing, infused practice, where learning continues over time and becomes part of your school’s culture, not just a moment or event

A reflective, ongoing process

  • We begin by listening.

Through open conversation, we take the time to understand your school, your community, and where you are in your journey. This stage is about building trust, identifying priorities, and creating a shared understanding of what meaningful practice can look like in your context.

  • From this foundation, we shape a tailored approach.

Professional learning, student experiences, and on Country opportunities are thoughtfully designed and delivered to meet your team where they are. Each experience is practical, grounded, and responsive, supporting educators to engage with confidence and clarity.

  • We create space to pause and think deeply about the learning.

Reflection is a central part of this work - allowing educators to ask questions, unpack new understandings, and consider how this translates into their own practice. This stage strengthens confidence and supports more intentional decision-making.

  • With ongoing support, learning begins to take root.

Educators build confidence, capability, and a stronger sense of direction. Over time, this work becomes infused - not as an add-on, but as part of everyday practice, shaping culture, curriculum, and relationships across the school.

  • Each step informs the next.

As your school grows, new questions, opportunities, and directions naturally emerge. We can continue walking alongside you - supporting ongoing reflection, deepening learning, and meaningful, lasting change.
